Born in 1977 in Ankara, Arzu Görücü completed her undergraduate education at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Traditional Turkish Arts at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University. She received her miniature art education from Latife Aktan Özel and from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University lecturer Taner Alakuş. She continues her master's education at Sakarya University, Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Traditional Turkish Arts. She also gives Tile and Miniature workshop lessons at Cağaloğlu Traditional Turkish Arts Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. She produces her works with an innovative perspective without disturbing the classical design approach.
